My mom got diagnosed with breast cancer right before Christmas (her 3rd time with cancer), my uncle about 3 weeks ago, and my fiance’s uncle has been battling leukemia since January. I’m hoping this year picks up :/ It hit me today, that it’s been 30 years. And I started to cry, not knowing why. I was 25 years old and male. The least diagnosed demographic for cancer. No one used the C word, at first it was just a cyst, easy to drain. One biopsy later it was a non-benign mass and needed an immediate MRI to see if there were any more before going into surgery.
